You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better vacation spot than Capri. Famous for its stylish shopping scene, Michelin-starred cuisine and, of course, that unbelievable blue sea, the Italian island is everything a glamorous getaway should be. Here, island life seamlessly blends luxury living with an intimate, friendly atmosphere. Visited by many on day trips from the Amalfi Coast, Capri is a gem that deserves a trip of its own. Officially open to tourists Easter weekend through the first week of November, May, June and September are said to be the most idyllic months to visit. There are two ways to get to Capri: the first (and most widely used) is by sea – ferries run often and are most commonly used, while the second is by helicopter – you can book a transfer from the Naples airport if you're feeling fancy.
